The best thing with my hobby of motocross is being outdoors. On a recent trip to Thailand (of all places), I was bowled over by the motocross scene there. I went to this circuit about 90 minutes out of Bangkok - on the edge of a town called Si Racha. Here they had a motocross competition next to a lake - it was one of the muddiest tracks I'd ever ridden on. It was right in the middle of the wet season there and the track was a real midden! My motocross goggles could have done with windscreen wipers there was so much mud flying around. But I tell you - there's nothing like being out there in the elements - I feel so alive having to wrestle with these muddy tracks and the racers I'm competing with. After such races, I feel a real buzz - I just can't get enough. |
